Custom U-Shaped P1.25 LED Display – A Showroom Case Study (Europe)
Introduction
A European client needed a U-shaped P1.25 LED display for their premium showroom. Standard flat screens would not fit their curved wall.
We designed, engineered, and produced a custom fine‑pitch LED screen – now completed and ready for shipment to Europe.
This case study explains why U-shaped and P1.25 were the right choices, and how we delivered a seamless curved display.
Why a U-Shaped LED Display?
A U-shaped screen wraps around the viewer. It creates a semi-immersive experience without needing a full 360° dome.
For a showroom, a U-shaped display:
- Fits curved walls perfectly – no gaps or wasted space
- Maximizes visibility from multiple angles
- Turns the screen into part of the architecture, not just a rectangle
Our client’s showroom had a standard rectangular LED wall would have left dead space. By building a custom U-shaped screen, we used every centimetre of the available wall while delivering a stunning visual flow.

Why P1.25 Pixel Pitch?
P1.25 means the distance between pixels is 1.25 mm. For a showroom where visitors stand as close as 1 to 2 meters from the screen, a larger pixel pitch (e.g. P2.5 or P3) would show visible pixels.
With P1.25:
- Pixel density – about 640,000 pixels per m², over 8 times higher than P4
- Minimum viewing distance – approximately 1.25 meters, giving smooth, continuous images
- High refresh rate – no flicker, even on camera
For high-end product displays (automotive, luxury goods, electronics), P1.25 turns the LED wall into a premium digital canvas.
Production Process – From Design to Shipment
Step 1 – Custom cabinet engineering
Standard rectangular cabinets cannot create a smooth U-shaped curve. We designed custom-angled cabinets that lock together precisely, matching the client’s wall radius.
Step 2 – P1.25 module assembly
Each module uses high-quality SMD LED with a black face for higher contrast. We assembled the full U-shaped structure in our factory – a mandatory step to verify the curvature before shipment.
Step 3 – Calibration and testing
We performed brightness and colour calibration across all modules, checked for dead pixels (zero before shipping), and verified thermal and power performance.
Step 4 – Packaging for international shipment
The U-shaped display is carefully packed into reinforced crates, with full installation documentation and remote technical support for the European client.
Key Benefits for a Showroom Environment
1. U-shaped design – maximizes wall space and provides immersive viewing
2. P1.25 fine pitch – sharp images from 1–2 meters
3. High brightness (800–1000 nits) – visible even under showroom lighting
4. Wide viewing angle (160°/160°) – consistent colour from the sides
5. Seamless curve – no gaps, no visible cabinet breaks
These features lead to higher visitor engagement and a stronger brand impression.
Why This Matters for Your Next LED Project
If you are planning a showroom, experience centre, museum, or corporate lobby, a custom-shaped LED display is no longer a “nice to have” – it is a competitive advantage.
A U-shaped P1.25 display:
- Differentiates your space from standard rectangular screens
- Improves content recall – immersive layouts hold attention longer
- Supports premium brand positioning
We have already proven this with our European client. Their U-shaped P1.25 display is now production‑complete and ready to become the centrepiece of their showroom.
